Europeana gathers datasets from cultural heritage institutions in Europe. Its goal is to make Europe’s cultural heritage available for everyone with an Internet connection. In many Europeana projects I participate in small teams that propose and write policy about Europeana’s licensing framework. After policy proposals are accepted by the Europeana Network I translate them into technical requirements and aid development teams in implementing them.
In this capacity I mostly worked with Paul Keller, Lucie Guibault and Patrick Peiffer, from whom I learn a great deal about licensing and (open) policy.
